NECC Comes to Atlanta
|The Georgia Department of Education and Georgia Public Broadcasting have partnered with the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) to bring their National Education Computer Conference (NECC) to Georgia - June 24 – 27, 2007 at the World Congress Center. This is a curriculum and technology conference that over 18,000 educators from all over the world attend. You will want to be a part of this conference.

Call for Presentations is now open until October 4. We want Georgia to be represented. Please send this message to your teachers so that they can submit proposals to present. http://center.uoregon.edu/ISTE/NECC2007/program/
Special Registration for Georgia participants – We have been able to negotiate a deal with ISTE for all Georgia persons attending the NECC conference – the cost is $150 until March 30. Registration opens the middle of September. http://center.uoregon.edu/ISTE/NECC2007/registration/
Special Housing opportunities for Georgia participants – ISTE is working with Georgia Tech to secure housing at the cost of approximately $65 per person per night. This is at the Olympic Village Apartments. Shuttles will be provided back and forth to the World Congress Center. Please notify your Educational Technology Training Center to let them know that you are interested in housing at Ga Tech. They will need to know how many persons you would possibly want to reserve rooms for.
