Student Work and Teacher Commentary
Student Work with Analysis and Commentary
The student work located within this section is accompanied with a three part in depth look at the work sample. It includes an analysis of the work, some next-step instructional suggestions, and commentary for the student. Teachers are encouraged to analyze student work for the purpose of planning instruction and assessing student progress. They are also strongly encouraged to provide feedback/commentary to students regarding progress. This does not mean that they would be required to do so within a three-part written product like the examples available here. These examples are only meant to serve as reference tools for teachers.

Some of the work samples represent Instructional Tasks and some represent Performance Tasks. This will be indicated in bold print under Circumstances of the Task.
Work samples and commentary will continue to be added to this site

Student Work and Teacher Commentary
